Erigeron karvinskianus

Number One of our Top Five Perennial Plants has to be Erigeron karvinskianus. Not only is this one of our best sellers but it really can grow anywhere. If you have a wall you want to soften, a pot to fill, a dry spot in the garden where you just want some interest, a sink garden or a rockery this plant really is for you. With its white daisy like flowers and small foliage, it is happy to grow in a crack in the wall and flowers all season long!

Hitting position number two is Verbena bonariensis. A striking tall perennial with cluster of small purple flowers give this architectural perennial an airy effect. Suitable for any traditional or contemporary garden, it provides a late season nectar source for Bees, Butterflies and other pollinators.

Geum totally tangerine

Geum Totally Tangerine are great plants for your garden. Their orange flowers are continuous through the year until the frosts. Orange flower combine so well in the garden with many other colours.

Claiming fourth spot is Salvia Caradonna. We really couldn’t recommend plants and not include this one! Aromatic foliage, rich vibrant violet blue flowers and the ability to survive in dry areas make this a proven winner! Don’t forget it is also great nectar source for wildlife!

And in fifth position we have the classic Geranium Rozanne. No list would be complete without it. It is undoubtedly one of the best Geraniums grown. It gives continuous flowering and is most reliable in a variety of garden situations. Launched in 2000, it is worldwide acclaimed. It has a RHS AGM in 2006, winner of Plant of the Year in 2008 and voted Plant of the Centenary at RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2013. Now who wouldn’t want a plant like that in their garden!!
