General Nursery Worker – Full Time

We are currently looking for someone to work 5 days a week on the nursery until the end of September with a possibility of a permanent contract after this point. Hours are 8.30am until 5pm. Some Saturdays in season would be required.

Main Duties

Dispatch – Selection of plants, Grading of plants, Cleaning and labelling ready for dispatch

Potting – machine and hand

Tiding and bed clearing

Customer service – Be available if needed to serve customers in busy periods.

General nursery maintenance and any other associated tasks

Skills/qualifications         

Ability to work as part of a team as well as working on your own.

Horticultural knowledge/qualifications – desirable

Must be physically fit and be prepared to work outside in all conditions

Training will be provided.

Transport would be required due to location.

PA1/PA6 licences – desirable

Forklift licence – desirable
